Gabriele Bosisio

Gabriele Bosisio (born August 6, 1980 in Lecco ) is an Italian racing cyclist .

Gabriele Bosisio won the French one-day race Annemasse-Bellegarde et retour in 2003. Since 2004 he has been riding for the Italian cycling team Tenax . In the 2006 season he was once stage runner-up at the Circuit de Lorraine . Also in the next year he was third in the stage and finished fourth in the overall standings. In addition, Bosisio was eighth in Milan – Turin and second in the Tour of Austria .

On September 2, 2009, Bosisio was tested positive for the illegal use of EPO during a training control by the UCI . In March 2010, the Anti-Doping Authority of the National Olympic Committee of Italy (CONI) requested a two-year ban for him.
