Gabriele Rommel

Gabriele Rommel , b. Oelsner, (* 1953 in Leipzig ) is a German German philologist .

She received her doctorate in 1978 and completed her habilitation at the University of Leipzig . The topic of her dissertation A , submitted in 1979, is Man as Universe. The defense of humanism in the studies and fragments of Friedrich von Hardenberg (Novalis) . From April 1992 to August 2019, Gabriele Rommel was director of the Novalis Research Center and Novalis Museum at Oberwiederstedt Castle . In this function, she organized several exhibitions and presented numerous scientific publications on the early Romantic poet Friedrich von Hardenberg and his environment.
