Gaede Trio

The Gaede Trio is a well-known string trio that has performed under the name String Trio Berlin since 2011 .

Founded in 1992 in Berlin , it was named after the violinist Daniel Gaede at the time . It appears regularly at important festivals such as the Kissinger Sommer , the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival , the Rheingau Music Festival or the Würzburg Mozart Festival .

Members

Thomas Selditz and Andreas Greger worked for several years as first soloists in well-known orchestras. Thomas Selditz has made a recording of Henri Vieuxtemps' works for viola and piano , which has been awarded the German Record Prize . Thomas Selditz is professor at the [University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna], Andreas Greger is professor at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin . Felix Schwartz is professor for viola at the Rostock University of Music and Theater .
