Gaia & Luna
Gaia & Luna is an Italian music duo from Rovereto , consisting of the sisters Gaia and Luna Carollo.
Career
The daughters of the DJ and music producer Agostino Carollo , known as Spankox , Ago or DJ B3lfast, made their debut in 2006 with a cover version of Schnappi, the little crocodile , which was a small success in the download charts. However, they had their breakthrough in 2007 with the song Come Vasco Rossi , in which they sang about their admiration for rock star Vasco Rossi . The song and music video produced by her father quickly became very popular. The song reached the top position in the download charts in May , and it was of all things La compagnia by Vasco Rossi ousted, in June it also entered the single charts and reached 13th place. Rossi congratulated the sisters on their success and was delighted with the dedication. This was followed by the album Come Vasco Rossi e altre canzoni .
In the following years the sisters began activities as DJanes and released a number of singles from the EDM / House genres , always in collaboration with their father. In 2010 the single Give It Up was also released internationally by Robbins Entertainment . The duo is still under contract with Everness , Agostino Carollo's label, and has regular, international appearances at dance events.
