Gaius Cuspius Pausa

Gaius Cuspius Pausa was an ancient Roman goldsmith who lived and worked in Pompeii in the 1st century .

Gaius Cuspius Pausa is only known from an inscription in Pompeii. The inscription on the wall of the Eumachia building at the Forum is an election call in which he campaigned for votes for his candidacy for the board of directors of the local goldsmiths association, the Latin universitas aurifiorum .

"C (aium) Cuspium Pansam aed (ilem) / aurifices universi / rog (ant)"
