from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gaius Iulius Geminus Capellianus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Through military diplomas , e.g. Some of them are dated December 6th, 157 and December 27th, 159, it is documented that Geminus Capellianus was governor ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) in the province of Pannonia inferior from 157 to 159 . Another diploma, which is dated October 26, 161, proves that he was in 161 together with Titus Flavius Boethus suffect consul ; the two consuls presumably took office on October 1st of that year.
