Gaius Maesius Tertius

Gaius Maesius Tertius (full name form Gaius Maesius Gai filius Palatina Tertius ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma dated October 14, 109 proves that Tertius 109 was the commander of the Ala I Hamiorum sagittariorum , which was stationed in the province of Mauretania Tingitana at that time . Four years later he is attested by an inscription donated by members of the vigiles as a subpraefectus of the vigiles in Rome. Tertius was inscribed in the tribe of Palatina .
