Gaius of Ephesus

Gaius of Ephesus was one of the seventy disciples . In the New Testament he is mentioned as the host of the apostle Paul in Ephesus ( Rom 16.23  EU ) and is said to have been the second bishop of Ephesus after the apostle Timothy . Gaius is venerated as a saint , his feast day is November 5th .
