Galago (comic magazine)

Galago is a comic and cultural magazine and is considered the most important forum for contemporary comic literature in Sweden .

Galago was founded in 1979 by Rolf Classon and others and was published by Tago Förlag, later by Atlantic Förlag. Today Galago belongs to the Ordfront publishing house and also contains foreign contributions. Classon took over some of the authors in his own publishing house, Kartago.

The authors who became known through Galago and Tago-Verlag include Lena Ackebo , Max Andersson , Charlie Christensen ("Arne Anke"), Max Gustavsson , Gunnar Lundkvist ("Klas Katt"), Ulf Lundkvist ("Assar") , Joakim Pirinen ("Socker-Conny"), Lars Sjunnesson ("Åke Jävel", now based in Berlin) and Liv Strömquist .
