Haberdashery goods , from French galanterie , "kindness", is an outdated term for fashion accessories .

Examples

Among the haberdashery fashion jewelry ( jewelery ) and smaller fashionable commodities like perfume bottles (oil flasks ) - formerly worn even at chain vinaigrette -, powder boxes, flashy buttons , bracelets , buckles , scarves, scarves , belts , trays , etc.

The Finnish athlete Paavo Nurmi (1897–1973) was a clothing dealer, as was Franz Kafka's father Hermann (1852–1931).
