The Galaunalm is an abandoned Alm and the weakly pronounced saddle of the same name on the ridge between Riederstein and Kleines Tegernseer Berg . Galaun is known, above all, by the below Riederstein Chapel located Berggaststätte Riederstein Galaun on the saddle.

geography

The saddle point and today's mountain restaurant are located to the west below the prominent rocky outcrop of the Riedereck with a view of the Riedereck chapel and can be reached both from Rottach and the town of Tegernsee in a simple mountain hike on forest trails.
