Gale Fitzgerald
Gale Lillian Fitzgerald (born June 9, 1951 in Newark , New Jersey ) is a former American pentathlon and hurdler .
In the pentathlon she came in 19th place at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, won silver at the 1975 Pan-American Games in Mexico City with her personal best of 4486 points, and came 13th at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
In 1973 she became the US champion in the 400 meter hurdles with her personal best of 61.1 seconds.
