Act

After Ernst Hübner ran the gallery full-time, an attempt was made to take part in trade fairs as soon as possible. The first participation was in 1998 in Frankfurt at what was then art Frankfurt . Participation in trade fairs in Cologne, Karlsruhe, New York, Los Angelas, London, Paris, Madrid and Miami followed. After 15 years, participation in the trade fair was reduced somewhat.

From 2007 the gallery started to hold a thematic exhibition once a year during the start of the season. A theme was given to the artists by the gallery, on which they then created a work using the appropriate technique. Topics from art history were deliberately chosen to show how these topics can be topical with current artists. The first topic was "Atelier". A catalog was created for this purpose. The next topics were "landscape", "portrait", "figure", "still life". In 2014 the topic “Home?” Was given. There was an extensive catalog for each topic.

The Galerie Hübner & Hübner is a member of the Federal Association of German Galleries .
