The Galleria Umberto I is a shopping arcade in the historic center of Naples .

It is covered with a large glass dome and is located directly opposite the world-famous opera house Teatro San Carlo . The gallery was built between 1887 and 1890 according to plans by Emmanuele Rocco and Ernesto di Mauro and was part of the urban renewal process after the cholera epidemic of 1884. The passage consists of two crossed arms that have been covered with a barrel-shaped glass roof.
