Gallo Glass is a German power metal - band from Hanover , which was active from 1999 by 2007.
Band history
Dirk and Arnd have played in various bands in Hanover since 1999, including Infernal Row , Atmosfear and Serpent Moves . Carsten was also active in the last two, but not yet as a lead singer, but on the guitar. Between 1995 and 1996 he made his first name with the power metal formation Scavanger as both singer and guitarist, but then kept his vocal talent in secret for a few years.
Founded as "Gallowglass", the guitarists were soon gathered together, deleted the "w" from the band name and recorded the demo Kings who die . Kai was already playing in the Hanover scene as the bassist for Desolation and has now changed bands with the instrument.
The first CD Legends from Now and Nevermore , a concept album whose title song was already included in Scavanger's repertoire, was recorded and produced partly in Wolfsburg's Gate studio and partly in its own Hunting Grund Studio in Hanover. The second long player Heavenseeker couldn't prevent the band from breaking up. Carsten and Dirk left the band in 2005, their successors were not presented live or in a studio production before the band finally split.
Since then, Norbert has been singing as guitarist for Anna and the Iron Maiden co-association Wrathchild , Carsten has set up the Waveland studio together with Frank Sawade (guitarist of Human Fortress ) and became a singer in 2007 during the production of the third album Eternal Empire his band, with whose bassist he had already played at Scavanger.
