Gamba is a city in the province of Ogooué-Maritime in southwest Gabon . With around 13,000 inhabitants (2010 calculation) it is the second largest city in the province. It is located at the southern end of the Ndogo lagoon . Lake Yenzi is located southeast of the village . The most important economic factor is the oil well located near the city. The city has an airport.
Because of its remarkable natural diversity ( biodiversity ), Gamba and the nearby Loango National Park became a destination for international tourism.
