The Gambian People's Party (GPP) ( German  Gambian People's Party ) was a socialist party in British Gambia .

history

The GPP was founded in 1954 by George St. Clair Joof in the British colony of Gambia. St. Clair Joof ran for one of four seats in the legislative council election that same year , but was unsuccessful.

St. Clair Joof died in 1955 at the age of 47, after which the party disbanded.
