Hans-Joachim Zimmermann

Hans-Joachim Zimmermann (born July 4, 1925 in Wormditt , East Prussia , † June 16, 2009 in Norderstedt ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Zimmermann attended elementary school and high school and graduated from high school. He was an active flag boy and lieutenant during World War II . After the war he began an apprenticeship as a bricklayer and plasterer with the aim of becoming an architect. After a serious illness, he became a judicial officer in the judicial service of the state of Schleswig-Holstein and a judicial officer at the Norderstedt district court .

Zimmermann was an honorary councilor for the city of Norderstedt and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the city council of Norderstedt. On June 29, 1971 he moved to the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . He was a member of this until 1987 as a directly elected member of the state electoral district of Norderstedt .
