The game - Association of the German Games Industry e. V. is the association of the German computer and video game industry. The game represents the interests of game developers , publishers and other players in the German computer game industry as well as e-sports organizers , universities and service providers. As the sponsor of gamescom , the association is responsible for the world's largest event for computer and video games. Game is a partner in the self-control entertainment software (USK), the Digital Game Culture Foundation and the host of the German Computer Game Prize (DCP).

The game emerged from a merger of the industry associations BIU - Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software and GAME - Federal Association of the German Games Industry . The merger took place on January 29, 2018. The association is based in Berlin. The managing director is Felix Falk.
