Antonia Gamila Kanew (born August 31, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German martial artist of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) .

Life

In her youth she played soccer. Started in the F-Jugend at FFV NB , she later played for Leipziger FC and Lokomotive Leipzig . Then she played at 1. FC Neubrandenburg 04 in the regional league.

In 2013 she published a book in which she writes about the meaning of life and her everyday problems.

In 2018 she was able to secure three gold medals at the JJWL World Championship in Azusa . She also won bronze at the 2018 IBJJF European Championships in Lisbon. In December 2018 Kanew won bronze at the IBJJF NoGi World Championships in Anaheim. In 2019 Kanew won silver at the UAEJJF World Professional Championships in Abu Dhabi .
