Bank Museum in Vrigstad

Gamla Bankgården i Vrigstad (German: Alter Bankhof in Vrigstad ) is a bank museum in Vrigstad in the Swedish municipality of Sävsjö .

The museum is located in the center of Vrigstad on Jönköpingsvägen No. 2, west of the Vrigstadsån river .

In the museum, a bank and a middle-class apartment from around 1900 on the upper floor of the house are presented. The furnishing of the apartment dates back to 1898, when the bank director Alfred Dahl moved in with his family. The placement of the furniture has not changed since then. After the death of Alfred Dahl's youngest child, who died in 1995 at the age of 91, the family wanted the apartment to become part of the Bank Museum.

In total there are three generations of bank buildings in the yard.
