Gan (Ganzhou)
Gan County ( Chinese 赣 县 , Pinyin Gàn Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Ganzhou in Jiangxi Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 2,993 km² and has a population of around 530,000. The main town is the municipality of Meilin (梅林 镇).
