Gang do Samba was founded in 1992 in Bahia by the singer Massal. The group became known through the performance of their dancers and relevant rhythms at numerous carnival events. With the album Embolê, after Rosiane Pinheiros joined the group as a dancer, they achieved their breakthrough. Gang do Samba played together with Raça Negra, É o Tchan, Só Pra Contrariar, Molejo, Exaltasamba, Belo and Fundo de Quintal at major events. They toured Latin America and Europe. Her greatest successes include “Rala O Bumbum”, “Raimunda”, “Que rebolado é esse?” And “Tingalatinga”.
Rosiane Pinheiros
Rosiane Pinheiros (born July 19, 1977 in Salvador da Bahia ), actually Rosiane de Souza Pinheiro, began her career from 1997 to 2004 as a dancer of Gang do Samba. She won second place after Sheila Carvalho in the É o Tchan competition of dancers "Nova Morena do Tchan" and was accepted by the Gang do Samba. Made famous by the numerous stage shows, she took part in many carnival events in Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. This was followed by TV appearances, modeling jobs, recordings for the Brazilian Playboy and in 2008 she was voted one of the 100 sexiest women in the world.
