The Gangadhar (also Gadadhar ) is a right tributary of the Jamuna ( Brahmaputra ) in the Indian state of Assam and in Bangladesh .

The Gangadhar arises at the confluence of the Sankosh (left) and Raidak (right). It flows through the Duar Plain in a southerly direction. He passes the small towns of Tamarhat and Golakganj on the left bank of the river . Shortly before it flows into the Jamuna , the section of the Brahmaputra , the river crosses the border into Bangladesh. The Gangadhar has a length of approx. 50 km.
