Ganges plain
The Ganges plain is an extensive plain on the course of the river Ganges in northern India . Together with the Brahmaputra river level , it forms a lowland plain with a length of around 2,400 kilometers and a width between 200 and 320 kilometers. In the north, the Ganges plain is bounded by the Himalayas and in the south by the Dekkan Plateau . It includes the states of Uttar Pradesh , Bihar and part of West Bengal .
