Ganira Pashayeva

Ganira Alasgar qizi Pashayeva ( Azerbaijani Qənirə Әləsgər qızı Paşayeva , born March 7, 1975 in Düz Qırıqlı, Tovuz Rayon , Azerbaijan) is a member of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan.

Life

Pashayeva was born on March 7, 1975 in Düz Qırıqlı Village of Tovuz Rayon. She graduated from the Pediatric Department of Azerbaijan State Medical University and the Department of International Law from Baku State University in Baku . She speaks English and Russian.

Since 1998, she has worked as a reporter, correspondent, editor, managing editor, assistant editor-in-chief of the news service of the news division for the ANS Group of Companies Television Company. In 2005 she became the head of public relations at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation .

On November 6, 2005, she was elected Member of Parliament by the constituency of Tovuz No. 105. She is a member of the Standing Commission of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan for International and Inter-parliamentary Relations and Chair of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Working Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations. She is also a member of the Azerbaijan-India, Azerbaijan-Turkey and Azerbaijan-Japan working groups on inter-parliamentary relations. She is one of the members of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
