Gao Xuejie

Gao Xuejie (internationally often cited in Western name order Xuejie Gao ) is a Chinese climate scientist . He conducts research at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences .

Act

Gao's research uses simulation models in climate research. He was able to show, for example, that the people of China will be exposed to strong heat waves in the event of global warming .

Gao was u. a. involved in the Fifth Assessment Report of the IPCC (2014). He is one of the authors of the IPCC's Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5 Degrees (2018).
