Guard Cavalry Rifle Corps

The Guard Cavalry Rifle Corps was created in April 1919 from the Guard Cavalry Rifle Division , the Marine Division and other volunteer corps .

Their leader was Lieutenant General Heinrich von Hofmann .

The corps was used in May 1919 in the defeat of the Munich Soviet Republic .

At the end of July 1919, the corps was split up into Reichswehr Brigades 15, 30, 31 and 40 of the Provisional Reichswehr .
