Gastón Machado , full name Gastón Rodrigo Machado López , (born January 19, 1986 in Rivera ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

At the beginning of his career, the 1.74 meter tall midfielder Machado belonged to the professional squad Juventuds from Apertura 2006 to Clausura 2008 . In the 2008/09 season followed by an engagement with Danubio FC , in which he shot a first division. In the 2009/10 season he was loaned to the first division racing team. He ran there seven times in the Primera División and scored one goal. In July 2010, he moved again on loan to Central Español . In the 2010/11 season, the statistics show him 16 first division games and three goals with the Montevideans. In late August 2011, he first joined El Tanque Sisley . By the end of the 2011/12 season, he had played 24 top division games and scored nine times in the opposing goal. In the Apertura 2012, Cerro Largo FC was his employer, for whom he played ten games (two goals) in the Primera División and two games (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana . His next career station was from mid-January 2013 Liverpool Montevideo . Nine league appearances in the 2012/13 season followed with the Montevideans in the following season only two more first division appearances. He failed to score. In early January 2014 he left the club, which later went into the second division at the end of the season, and continued his career for the second time in his career with El Tanque Sisley. In the Clausura 2014 he was used five times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. In the 2014/15 season he was used twelve times in the Primera División and scored one goal. During the 2015/16 season he played eleven times (one goal) in the league. After relegation at the end of the season, he made ten second division appearances (no goal) in the 2016 season, helping to direct the promotion back to the top.
