Gastón Martínez , full name Gastón Martínez Menéndez , (born December 1, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the 1.70 meter tall midfielder Martínez has been in El Tanque Sisley's ranks at least since the 2010/11 season . In that season, the Clausura 2011 recorded four appearances in the Primera División for him, in which he scored twice in the opposing goal. In the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, he played 24 first division games. He did not succeed in another hit. He also played both of the club's games in the 2013 Copa Sudamericana . In the 2013/14 season he made 28 appearances (one goal). In the Apertura 2014 he was used in twelve top division games (no goal). At the 2015 Clausura, he joined the Club Atlético Cerro . There he played eight first division games (no goal) by the end of the season. At the end of July 2015, he moved to Club Atlético Rentistas within the Primera División . In the 2015/16 season he made 23 top division games (no goal).
