Gasthaus Zur Post (Perlach)
The Gasthaus zur Post is an inn in Munich - Perlach , whose domesticity has been documented since the 15th century .
location
The Gasthaus zur Post is located on Pfanzeltplatz in Perlach, surrounded by old farmhouses and more modern residential and sales houses built since the 19th century.
history
The Gasthaus zur Post was first mentioned in 1446 as the Perlacher Tafernwirtshof . In 1691 Johann Paul Dägn (father of the Capuchin Emmerich Däger ) got the Perlacher Tafernwirtschaft from his father and landlord Franz Dägn . The restaurant was once converted into a post office, from which the current name Gasthaus zur Post can be traced back.
In the first half of the 19th century, Joseph Aichinger was a tavern host in the Gasthaus zur Post. At the same time, the building was used as a butcher's and brandy distillery at that time . On May 10, 1840, the building, then known as the Real Tafernwirtschaft , burned down according to a plaque.
The current structure was rebuilt in 1840 and is under ensemble protection and a monument protection (file no. D-1-62-000-5290).
In 1927 the Gasthaus zur Post was bought by what was then known as the Paulaner- und Salvatorbrauerei AG .
Today the restaurant is used as a restaurant where traditional Bavarian dishes are prepared.
