The Gasthaus in den Straßen is a historic inn and monument in Solingen-Burg , Wermelskirchener Strasse 12-16.
history
It was first mentioned in 1513 as " Roerich yn den Strayssen, Nultzen thilman yn den strayhsen gyfft Jairs van dem alden Kemmer gudt am troghe " (taxes to the Johanniter- Kommende ).
1523, up St. Matheus evening of the holy apostle and evangelist. Duke Johann von Berg leases the Tilman Blewell in the streets and Metzen of his married housewife 12 Malterscheid Land to the castle above the Hahn Siefen, go down to Rörichs Kamp and along the Wermelskirchener Straße, up at the Vorhaupt turning to Hermann Proles Kamp, with names on the Stoefgen, and on the other side on the Richtelpfad, then turning to the Weier Siefen zu Stolzenberg. In return, he leases six Malter oats to the waiter at the castle on St. Martin's day or 14 days later at the latest. (Back) copied in December 1638. Today's tenants each with a third are Jacob and Johan am Trogh and Peter Enken, Thomas von Viehelings and Wittib Caspar Eichholtz and the waiter Wilhelm Sigenmundt.

In 1848, the Franz Arnold Jäger estate was acquired from the foreclosure sale by Daniel Hoesterei against heir Peter Bremer. The house can be found in cadastral article 120, hall 3, parcel 244.
On March 30, 1850, Franz Arnold Jäger redeemed the land interest on the donkey ride by paying 33-5-8 thalers to the domain treasury.
In 1889 the widow Gustav Jäger borrows 8,400 marks on cadastral article 288, large 20 hectares, 72 ares, with a house in corridor 3, plot 240 "In der Straße" and on the land "In der Eselsfahrt " from the Wermelskirchener Sparkasse.
