history

The gabled half-timbered building in Hochdorfer Straße 1, right next to the Peter and Paul Church , has an eaves extension with a round arched passage to the courtyard. The building, which dates back to 1738, was built on the site of a previous building. As early as 1733, Johannes Schwarz was recorded as an Adler host in the Heimerdingen church register. In the course of a comprehensive renovation in 1940, the half-timbered structure was exposed under the originally plastered building. The hospitality business was discontinued in the 1980s. After renewed renovation, the building is now only used for residential purposes.
