The Hotel & Brauereigasthof Drei Kronen is a listed building complex in Memmelsdorf in Bavaria .

history

The licensed property was first mentioned in 1457 when a tailor bought it. The current building was erected in 1748 and initially served the Bailiwick of Memmelsdorf. Even before the Second World War , the house housed a courtyard with a brewery and a restaurant. After the war, the former servants' chambers were converted into hotel rooms. In the 1970s the hotel was expanded and operations were modernized. The last major renovation was in 2017, when the roof structure of the building behind was rebuilt. Nine new hotel rooms were built as part of the measure.

architecture

The core of the main building in Memmelsdorfer Hauptstrasse dates from the 18th century. The original hipped roof was replaced by a mansard hipped roof . The ice tower with attic and oriel tower was built around 1880 in brick Gothic. Both are cultural monuments according to the Bavarian Monument Protection Act .

The building is an inn, hotel and brewery.
