Gaston is a small impact crater on the front of the moon east of the Delisle crater near the small moon groove Rupes Boris .

The name goes back to an originally unofficial name on sheet 39B2 / S2 of the Topophotomap map series of NASA , which was taken over by the IAU in 1976.
