Gauss price

The GAUSS Prize (named after Carl Friedrich Gauß ) is a prize that was founded in 1998 by the German Actuarial Association (DAV) and the German Society for Insurance and Financial Mathematics (DGVFM) for outstanding achievements in the field of insurance and financial mathematics to appreciate. A young talent award is announced for participants up to 30 years of age.

In 2015 the prize was endowed with 10,000 euros.

The Gauss Prize should not be confused with the Carl Friedrich Gauß Prize , which is awarded every four years at the International Congress of Mathematicians .
