Gavin Casey

Gavin Casey (born April 10, 1907 in Kalgoorlie , Western Australia , † June 25, 1964 in Perth , Western Australia) was an Australian writer .

Life

Casey attended state schools and the Kalgoorlie School of Mines . He then worked as a journalist and wrote for The Bulletin . From 1945 to 1947 he was director of the Australian News and Information Office in New York City . He later worked in the Department of Information in Canberra .

He wrote short stories, novels and a work on cultural history.
