Gavrila Andreevich Ratschinsky

Gawrila Andrejewitsch Ratschinski (also: Raczinski ) (* 1777 in Novgorod Severski ; † March 30th July / April 11th  1843 greg. Ibid) was a Russian composer .

The son of the church musician Andrej Andrejewitsch Ratschinski had violin lessons from his father and studied in Kiev and Moscow . From 1805 he worked as a violin teacher and virtuoso in Moscow.

In addition to vocal works and compositions for guitar, he created a number of violin concertos and works for violin and piano .
