Building measurement

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gebäudeeinmessung is a task of surveying and mapping . To complete the map , the existing building stock is measured.

The corners of a building are measured. The lengths of the sides of the building are also recorded to check and supplement the measurement.

State of the art is the use of the total station or theodolite . The polar image is used here. The advantage of this procedure is the possibility of an automatic transfer of the measurement data in the computer.

The integration and orthogonal method is still used today for simple buildings or an inadequate fixed point field.

The satellite-based GPS method can also be used for building measurements.
