Roasted almonds

Roasted almonds are a confection that - in addition to cotton candy and Magenbrot particularly common - fairs and festivals is sold (fair).

The almonds are under continuous stirring in an open copper kettle by heating with addition of sugar and water caramel ( "fired"). By adding z. B. vanilla sugar and cinnamon can be used to refine the aroma. Alternatively, other types of nuts such as B. Macadamia , peanuts , Brazil nuts , pecans or walnuts and cashew nuts are offered in roasted form.
