50th birthday commemorative medal

Ribbon

The commemorative medal for his 50th birthday was donated on August 16, 1956 by Prince Franz Josef II von und zu Liechtenstein on the occasion of his 50th birthday and awarded to nationals and foreigners as recognition.

Appearance

The round medal made of bronze shows the portrait of the founder, turned to the left, with the inscription FRANZ JOSEF II. PRINCE OF LIECHTENSTEIN, 1906. 16. VIII. 1956 . On the reverse is the small state coat of arms of Liechtenstein, towering over a princely hat .

Carrying method

The medal is worn on a red triangular ribbon with yellow stripes on the left side of the chest.
