Gediminas Vasiliauskas

Gediminas Vasiliauskas (* 1963 in Naugardiškė , district Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian politician, member of " Vieningas Kaunas ".

Life

Gediminas Vasiliauskas spent his childhood in Garliava . Until 1974 he studied at the 1st Garliava Middle School. After graduating from secondary school in Garliava in 1978, he studied at Kauno politechnikumas from 1978 to 1982 and became a construction technician and served in the Soviet Army in Kaunas . 1985–1990 he completed a degree in economics at the Vilniaus universitetas in Vilnius . From 1998–2007 he worked at AB “ Kauno energija ”. From 2002 to 2006 he was Vice President and Board Member of Kauno krepšinio lyga . From 2005 to 2009 he was a referee in athletics and from 2011 headed the Kaunas Association of Athletics.

From 2015 to 2016 he was a member of the Kaunas City Council . He has been a member of the Seimas since 2016 .
