Gedser Fyr is a lighthouse in Denmark named after the place Gedser . The structure is about 1 kilometer away from Gedser Odde , the southernmost point of Denmark at the southern tip of Falster .
The lake fire has been in operation since August 1, 1802, was electrified around 1920 and automated from 1962.
