Back pressure process
There are many different technical processes that work with counter pressure and are therefore called counter pressure processes, e.g. B .:
- when filling carbonated drinks such as beer or sparkling wine . The aim is to prevent carbon dioxide from escaping from the drink and thus oxygen from getting into it.
- in piston steam engines and steam turbines
- If there are high tolerance requirements , counterpressure is used when punching
- in casting , especially in aluminum casting , in which the melt solidifies under increased gas pressure to reduce structural defects
- in a process for water desalination in which a current is generated with electrically excited magnetic fields that only moves the ions and thus separates the salt water from the drinking water.
- in the production of polymer microfoams to improve the surface quality and mechanical properties (gas back pressure process)
