The landscape protection area Gehölz at the house of the farmer Lüke Goldenstein in Lüdstede is a landscape protection area in the district of Wittmund in the state of Lower Saxony . It bears the number LSG WTM 00016. As the lower nature conservation authority, the district of Wittmund is responsible for the area.
Description of the area
The protected landscape area, designated in 1955, covers an area of 0.005 square kilometers and is located southeast of the center of Neuschoo , a sub- municipality of the Holtriem municipality in East Frisia .
Protection purpose
The general protection purpose is the “preservation and development of the forest parcel in the courtyard as a bird protection wood”. The district intends to achieve this goal by revising the protected area ordinance and developing the edge areas (forest mantle) of the protected area. In order to adequately ensure protection, the district also proposes placing it under protection as a protected landscape component.
