Geilsbüel

Geilsbüel , or Geils for short (pronounced: Gils ), is a hamlet in Adelboden in the canton of Bern .

Geilsbüel is at the back of the valley against the Hahnenmoospass and is at an altitude of 1700  m above sea level. M. in the Adelboden-Frutigen-Lenk ski region . In addition to the “Geilsbrüggli” restaurant, Geilsbüel also has the valley stations of the combined lift to the Hahnenmoospass, as well as the two chairlifts on the Lavey and on the Luegli .

In summer, a bus line connects Adelboden with Geils. In winter, the Sillerenbahn is used to Bärgläger, from where buses go to Geils. Private travel with a motor vehicle requires a permit . The departure times in winter are not officially published in the Swiss timetable, as there is no development function in accordance with Art. 9 Para. 2 FPV. These must be consulted on the website of the mountain railways or on site.
