Geisei Observatory

The Geisei Observatory ( Japanese 芸 西 天文台 , Geisei tenmondai ) is an observatory in the village of Geisei in Kōchi Prefecture , Japan. It is mainly used to observe comets and asteroids .

The main instrument is a Newtonian telescope with a 60 cm aperture and 2.7 m focal length . The head of the observatory is Tsutomu Seki .
