Way of life

The food consists mainly of insects that are searched between the leaves of the trees, but not along the branches like nuthatch-weaver, but preferentially in the tops. Hunting takes place in small communities, also together with other species.

The breeding season is probably between June and August. The species is considered monogamous and does not breed in colonies . The nest is hung very high up on a branch.
