Scholarly family
Scholarly family means a family that has produced several great scholars ( scientists ).
If the scholars of the family were mainly active in a certain subject , a sub-term for the term scholar family can be formed by defining the basic word family through the job title (e.g. mathematician family).
The following families of scholars, among others, have achieved international fame:
- the Bernoulli family of mathematicians ,
- the Feuerbach family ,
- the historian family Mommsen and
- the Huxley family .
