Community leadership

The municipality leadership is a decision-making body of Austrian , but also Liechtenstein municipalities .

The designation given by the Federal Constitutional Law is the municipality board . The respective municipal code of the federal states can, however, introduce different designations. So the term community leadership was chosen in Salzburg .

The municipality administration in Salzburg municipalities is responsible for decisions on individual personnel matters such as the recruitment of employees, service and salary issues as well as tax and duty matters. The mayor is the chairman of the community council , the other members are determined according to the election results of the community council . The meetings of the community leadership usually take place in camera.

Liechtenstein

The chairman of the local council in Liechtenstein is the local councilor , who corresponds to the mayor in Germany and Austria.
